CHANGES TO ACCESS
Calderlea Practice is currently restricting access for the safety of all patients and staff. We now have an Intercom system in place. If you have been asked to attend please use the intercom to inform staff you have arrived. Please DO NOT arrive early for your appointment as we have no waiting area facility at present. If you have been asked to hand in a hospital letter please use the Black Mail Box on the right hand side of the Doors. If you have been asked to hand in a sample please use the intercom and inform a member of staff.
Face Coverings to be used at all times whilst in the building. If you are unable to wear a face covering please inform the staff.
We aim to remain open for all essential primary care problems. However, on the advice of Health Protection Scotland we have put in place a process whereby everyone is screened by telephone prior to being seen. Do not present at the surgery without the permission of a GP or Nurse.
Only order prescriptions that are required and due, please do not order too early as the request will not be processed. Allow 7 days. Order your prescriptions via the telephone message line, via your local pharmacy or via this website. Please state which pharmacy you wish your prescription to be sent to.
We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

VIOLENCE AND AGGRESSION "ITS NOT ON" CAMPAIGN
COVID 19 BOOSTER AND SEASONAL FLU VACCINATION PROGRAMMES
This year, the covid-19 booster and seasonal flu vaccination programmes are being delivered together. Where possible, people who are eligible for both vaccinations will receive one appointment – so they don’t need to attend two appointments within a short period of time.
To allow GP practices to continue to provide vital services to patients, they will not be involved in delivering these programmes. Please do not contact your GP practice about the covid booster or flu vaccinations as they will not be able to help.
As with the initial covid-19 vaccination programme, we are asking people to be patient as they will be contacted when it is their turn for either or both vaccines.
People who are eligible will be invited to attend an appointment in one of our seven vaccination centres, located across Lanarkshire.

As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
Get Well, Keep Well
Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
We hope you enjoy having a look around the site and familiarising yourself with some of the online features such as ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.
We have ground level access from the street to reception and a lift and stairs to upper level. Toilet facilities suitable for disabled persons are located on both the ground floor and the upper floor.
